LIGHTING YOUR FIRE PIT

The Outdoor Plus has several options to ignite your fire pit. The standard option included with all Outdoor Plus Fire Pits is match light. With this option you open the gas valve and light the fire with a lighter. Other options include Spark Light and Electronic Light. The Outdoor plus also offers an optional Flame Sense feature which detects the flame from your fire pit burner. Should the flame extinguishes or blow out due to high winds the Flame Sense valve will shut off the flow of gas automatically for safety. You would then be required to manually shut of the gas valve then turn it back on to re-light the fire. See below for a detail description of each ignition source with a link to its product page.
